Versatile NZ Grown Tomato, can be eaten for raw as snacks, salads or cooked sauces, soups, pizza and stews. Can be preserved for sauces and chutneys or dried.
Tomatoes are a good source of vitamin A and C and contain a dietary significant amount of potassium.
Tomatoes should be stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Tomatoes will ripen in these conditions. Do not refrigerate unless they are over ripe. Refrigerated tomatoes do not have the full flavour of tomatoes stored at room temperature.
