Desiree potatoes are a great all-round potato, both waxy and floury they have a pink to red skin and creamy yellow flesh. They are good roasted, sliced into chips or wedges or used in salads, but can also be used in mash.
Storage and Care: Optimally potatoes should be stored at 7⁰C in a well ventilated cool dark place. If they are stored above this temperature they will sprout and if they are exposed to light they will get a green colour.
